Policy for protection of personal information

IIS, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) observes the provisions of the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” (Law No. 57, May 30, 2003) which was fully enacted from April 1, 2005 and ensures the implementation of the following paragraphs with careful attention to personal information and our utmost efforts.

Proper collection, use and provision of personal information

The Company shall collect, use or provide personal information properly in accordance with the designated rules as follows, considering the contents and scale of our business activities.

  • When collecting personal information, the Company shall clarify the purpose of their use to the individual who has provided his or her personal information, except in the case that where doing so may harm any rights and interests of the individual or third party, and handle this information properly without using it for any other purposes.
  • The Company shall not provide the thus obtained personal information to any third party without gaining the permission of the individual in advance, except in the case of orders required by law.
  • When the collected personal information to any third party, the Company shall choose a person who has a sufficient level of knowledge on personal information protection and handle this process properly by establishing provisions to maintain the protection level through agreements and enforcing training and management.
  • The Company shall strictly control all personal information to prevent it from loss, damage, alteration, leakage or unlawful access, take appropriate measures to prevent the loss, damage, leakage or unauthorized access from outside, and make efforts to prevent the loss, damage, alteration and leakage of personal information.

Respect for individual rights in regards to personal information

Regarding the personal information possessed by the Company, the Company shall take prompt action when disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension of use of the personal information is requested by the individual.

While the Company has taken all possible measures to maintain the accuracy of all information displayed on the site, the Company shall not be held responsible for any loss to a user resulting from the information posted on the site. Likewise, the Company shall not be held responsible for the information posted on the site of the third party who is linked to our site.
